Return and Exchanges

The customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the order. To initiate the return process, an email must be sent to customercare@illanificio.it, including the order number, the items to be returned and the reasons for the return, in order to facilitate the process. Our team will review your request and provide you with all the necessary instructions to complete the procedure.

The products must be returned in the same conditions of receipt: unused, with all the labels related to the product, with the original packaging and any accessories. 

The return shipping costs are charged to the customer except the case in which the product received is defective. 

The customer has the right to return a product received with verified defects free of charge. If the garment received has defects, you must send an e-mail to the address customercare@illanificio.it attaching an image of the defective product. 

It is advisable to pack the return carefully in the original packaging and to keep the courier's shipping receipt to track the shipment and to be able to track the package in case of loss. 

The approval of the return is subject to control by Il Lanificio which will verify the integrity of the goods and will then proceed with the refund or change of size, shipping of the item changed is free of charge. 

If the goods do not comply with the above requirements, the return may be refused.

For UK returns all taxes and duties are at the customer’s expenses.

The refund will be made within 14 working days from the approval of the return on the same payment method used in the order confirmation. The accounting for the refund may vary depending on the method used. In case of payment by bank transfer, the customer must indicate the details on which he wishes to receive the refund (account holder name, IBAN and bank). 

It is possible to return items in Il Lanificio stores only (except San Marino, Mendrisio and Aubonne's stores) if the customer intends to request a change in size or color. It is not possible to return an item in-store and request a cash refund. Before proceeding with the return in the store, the customer must send an e-mail to the address customercare@illanificio.it to open the return procedure.

Return procedure

To request a return, send an email to the address customercare@illanificio.it indicating the order number, the email address and the ZIP code entered at the time of the order (shown in the Order Confirmation e-mail) and the products to be returned (item code and size) with the relevant reasons.

After receiving the return opening confirmation email, pack the package in the original packaging (if present), check that the goods are in the same state of receipt and ship to:

After the shipment of the package, send the shipment tracking number to the same return opening email address.

When the package arrives in our warehouse we will communicate the result of the return and we will proceed with the refund which does not include any shipping costs paid at the time of the order.
